How to evaluate a modular foldable cabin supplier
A foldable cabin should be evaluated as a documented system. The legal counterparty, named model, folded and deployed states, technical scope, logistics and installation method should form one traceable evidence chain.

01 · Evidence chain
Keep the entity, model and documents connected
Every claim should point back to the same named model and the legal entity responsible for the quotation. Visual similarity, a shared brand word or an undated file does not establish that connection.

Identify the contracting, invoicing and warranty entity.
Model
Use one model code and revision across all documents.
States
Connect folded and deployed evidence to that model.
Specification
Reconcile dimensions, weight, materials and configuration.
Logistics
Tie packing and loading assumptions to the quoted unit.
Method
Define deployment, site work and safety boundaries.
Quality
Trace manufacturing and inspection records.
Rights
Confirm project facts and permission to use media.
Decision rule: a break in the chain is an open question. Record it as missing or conditional instead of filling the gap with an assumption.

03 · Technical review
Reconcile the same numbers across the file set
A buyer should be able to place the specification, drawing, packing plan and quotation side by side and see the same model, revision and configuration. If a number changes, the file set should explain why.
Dimensions and weight
Confirm folded and deployed dimensions, transport height, gross handling weight and the stated basis for each value.
Structure and mechanisms
Request a description of the primary system, folding or extending mechanism, connections, locking points and replaceable components.
Envelope and openings
Check wall and roof build-up, weathering details, doors, windows, seals and interfaces that move during deployment.
Utilities and options
Separate base scope, option and buyer-supplied items. Confirm utility connection points and the local-work boundary.
Version control: do not combine attractive values from similar models. A technical claim belongs to the model and revision shown on its source.
04 · Logistics and deployment
Test every transport and time assumption
Container quantity and deployment time can look precise while describing different conditions. Ask for the inputs behind the number and calculate whether those inputs match the intended destination.

A headline “unfolding time” should not be treated as total installation time unless site readiness, lifting, final connections, weather sealing, testing and completion work are included in the same definition.
05 · Quality, references and rights
Check what a document or image actually proves
Manufacturing identity
A factory image does not identify the legal manufacturer, production line, model or shipment. Ask for records that name the entity and product.
Inspection records
Define the inspection stage, acceptance criteria, responsible party, result and connection to a model, lot or serial reference.
Certificate scope
Check the certificate holder, issuer, standard, scope, product coverage, annexes and validity. A logo or cover page is not enough.
Project reference
Record the product, location, use, quantity, date, counterparty and permission before relying on a project picture.
Media classification
Separate original photography, continuous video, rendering, AI-generated visual and third-party example. Label each accurately.
Publication permission
Confirm who owns the file and whether it may be shared, edited or published for the intended purpose.
06 · Quotation normalisation
Compare the same model, scope and destination
- Lock the model and revision. Reject comparisons that merge several models.
- Reconcile the configuration. Separate base items, options, exclusions and buyer-supplied work.
- Use one destination basis. Align delivery term, route, unloading and site conditions.
- Define time consistently. Separate production assumptions, transport, unfolding and completion work.
- Confirm the responsible entity. Identify who signs, supplies, installs, warrants and responds to claims.
- Keep written clarifications. Attach the final evidence and decision record to the agreed scope.
A traceable source supports the claim, the model/entity connection is complete, checks are recorded and publication rights are clear.
The evidence supports a limited statement only when its scope, conditions and remaining uncertainty are stated.
The evidence is absent, inconsistent or cannot be tied to the model, entity or claimed use. Do not rely on the claim.
07 · Copy-ready request
Vendor evidence request
Please provide the legal name of the contracting, invoicing and warranty entity, plus its relationship to the named product and manufacturing entity.
Please identify the exact model, model code, revision and quoted configuration used in every file.
Please provide original same-model evidence of folded and deployed states, including key mechanisms and a traceable capture source.
Please provide the current specification and drawings covering folded/deployed dimensions, weight, structure, envelope, openings, utilities and options.
Please provide model-specific packing and loading information, transport assumptions, lifting or forklift points and destination-handling requirements.
Please provide the ordered deployment method, required crew and equipment, foundation and utility interfaces, safety limits and completion work.
Please provide manufacturing and inspection records that identify the responsible entity, model and applicable lot or serial reference.
Please provide complete certificates with holder, issuer, scope, standard, applicable model/family, validity and verification route.
Please identify the source and publication rights for project references, photos, videos, renderings and other media.
Please issue an itemised quotation showing base scope, options, exclusions, destination basis, validity, timing assumptions and warranty issuer.
Five evidence groups to review
Keep five records aligned to the same quoted model: current product evidence, mechanism tests and limits, transport plan, installation instructions, and seller authority. Record unresolved or inconsistent documents explicitly.

How should a certificate be checked?
Match the holder, issuer, standard, scope, product or model family, validity period and annexes. Verify through the issuer or an official database where possible.
Can container quantity be compared across vendors?
Only after unit size and weight, packaging, container type, securing allowances and configuration are normalised. Otherwise the numbers may describe different assumptions.
Does a short unfolding time equal installation time?
Not necessarily. Separate unfolding from lifting, levelling, foundations, joining, weather sealing, utility connection, testing, finishes and commissioning.
